As part of efforts to promote project activities to engineers, technical staff, and the general public, while consolidating cross-sectoral knowledge, the Ulaanbaatar Metro Project team successfully organized “Workshop #1: Station Works (Civil & System Infrastructure)” on March 31st.

The workshop featured a comprehensive program designed to enhance inter-project coordination, support teamwork, and introduce modern metro engineering solutions.

During the event, experienced domestic and international experts presented and exchanged information on the following core subjects:

• Geotechnical Risk Management: Safety protocols for underground structures, methods for preventing potential risks, and incident response strategies.
• Station Construction: Engineering solutions for metro station construction, supported by practical experience and real-world case studies.
• Signaling and Communication Systems: An introduction to modern signaling and communication technologies—the "lifeline" of metro project safety.

Beyond theoretical knowledge, the workshop emphasized practical engagement. Participants were divided into teams to take part in interactive exercises and teamwork activities designed to reinforce collaborative values. Attendees also viewed the documentary "London's Super Tunnel," which provided valuable insights into the scale and technical challenges of world-class infrastructure projects, helping participants better understand the complexities of the field.
